Goal:

Our Biggest Loser Challenge is designed to help you achieve a more optimal state of health through diet, exercise, and lifestyle modification.

Benefits:
The benefits of being part of weight loss challenge include:

  Increasing lean muscle mass
  Access to fitness and nutrition experts
  Decreased risk of many health conditions such as heart disease,
        high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoarthritis,etc.
  Increased energy levels
  Improved mood and productivity

Exercise Portion of the Challenge:
Six semi-private team Personal Training sessions with a Certified Personal Trainer. These sessions will involve core training, strength training using machines,
free weights, medicine balls, and physio balls, cardio training and flexibility
all rolled into one challenging session! After eight weeks of training, we will determine
our Team Winner and our Individual Winners from each team. All individual winners will then get four private personal training sessions for the next two weeks!
At the end of the program, we will determine our Overall Biggest Loser! In addition, you will also get “One on One” training over the phone or via e-mail
to help with your continued progress throughout the 10 weeks. The NEAC will continue to support you to acheive your goal by offering weekly Biggest Loser articles and recipes so you can commit to a changed lifestyle.


Group Nutrition Portion of the Challenge:
This ten week program will offer three group nutritional sessions during the first six weeks to support healthy weight loss and lifestyle modification. We will meet to
discuss the topic for the first 45min and then have a Q&A for the last 15min.
All dates will be determined at the final meeting.


Class #1: Calories in, Calories out. It’s all about Balance.
Class #2: Nutrition Facts, Labels, and Serving Sizes
Class #3: Strategies for Dining Out and Eating on the Run.
